Kelly McGonigle-Jeffers practices primarily in the areas of business and corporate commercial law, energy law and intellectual property law, with a particular interest in information technology. She assists clients in a variety of industries on a wide range of commercial matters, including contract drafting, review and negotiation, purchase and sale transactions and real estate deals.
Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers has been a registered Trade-mark Agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office since 2010 and has significant experience in the preparation, filing, prosecution and enforcement of Canadian and U.S. trade-marks. In relation, Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers has been involved in a variety of intellectual property transactions and arrangements.
Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers received her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of Winnipeg in 2004 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 2008. Prior to becoming an Associate with Burstall Winger Zammit LLP, Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers summered and articled with the firm and was called to the Bar in 2009.
Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association. She is also a member of the Association of Women Lawyers (AWL) of Calgary. Mrs. McGonigle-Jeffers is an avid runner and dedicated Theatre Calgary subscriber.
