Stacey Burstall practices primarily in the area of corporate finance, capital markets and securities regulation. She advises publicly traded issuers and privately held companies on a range of corporate and securities matters including debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, asset and share arrangements, general corporate matters, corporate governance issues, disclosure matters and regulatory compliance. Specifically, Mrs. Burstall has been involved in assisting capital pool companies in completing their qualifying transactions, reverse takeover bids, reorganizations and numerous private placement financings for companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. She also acts for agents and underwriters with respect to debt and equity financings, sponsorship and restructuring transactions.
Mrs. Burstall received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002.
Mrs. Burstall has professional affiliations with the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.
