Amal Tharani joins Burstall LLP as a 2019-2020 Articling Student. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. During her time in law school Amal worked with Student Legal Assistance as a caseworker for the first Health and Justice Partnership in Western Canada. She also worked with Pro Bono Students Canada providing legal information, and connecting unrepresented individuals to legal resources. Amal also represented the Faculty of Law as a member of an advisory scholarship committee to the Deputy Provost and Chair of the University of Calgary.
In her spare time, Amal enjoys making her own “clean beauty” products as well as spending time outdoors.
