Jason Dutrizac practised law for several years at a boutique commercial law firm in Ottawa, Ont., before joining Regent Law as a Partner. He specializes in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate fraud and cross-border fraud litigation. Jason represents receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, and small and medium-size business owners. He has many reported cases and has appeared before all levels of courts in the Province of Ontario and the Federal Court along with various administrative tribunals. He regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice – Bankruptcy Court and the Commercial List in Toronto. While he is at ease in a courtroom environment, Jason is a firm believer in Alternative Dispute Resolution and negotiation.
Jason is a recent contributor to the book Debt Restructuring: An Alternative to Insolvency Proceedings, published by European Lawyer Reference.
Away from work, Jason enjoys family time with his wife and two kids. With what little time is left after work and family, Jason likes to golf and downhill ski. He also enjoys running, yoga and playing hockey.
