Stephanie joins Burstall LLP as a 2020-2021 Articling Student. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and her Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Law & Society and Political Science from the University of Calgary.
As a law student, Stephanie volunteered at Student Legal Services and Civil Claims Duty Counsel, where she assisted volunteer lawyers and provided legal information to low-income individuals. She also completed an internship with the Alberta Law Reform Institute where she researched potential concerns and issues for proposed amendments to the Alberta Personal Property Security Act. Stephanie was active in Law Show, a hallmark of the U of A law school experience, that has raised funds annually for local charities for the last 25 years.
Prior to law school Stephanie worked in a variety of sales and management roles in Vancouver, BC. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, exploring new restaurants and learning about wine.
